"It's ok, Gibson, I'll put it all back," Phoenix spoke calmly as he held the struggling niffler in his lap and dug into the pouch. "I'm sure there arexseveral coins too, but I think we cn find much more than that," he said, already his hand had sunk much deeper than it should be able to, past the wrist and kept digging deeper even though the outside of the pouch appeared as if he was just opening it a little bit. Phoenix felt up everything he could reach until he found something large enough.
"Ah, mum has been looking for this," he stated as he pulled out a well polished antique jewelry box which width was half the height as the niffler. It was a family heirloom from the late 19th century and his mother was sure she'd kept it in a locked drawer. The boy tried to open the box but it remained locked. "Good, I don't have to fish out her jewelry seperately," he sighed. "See, nifflers love shiny and glittering stuff. They can actually smell gold even if it is underground, and their pouches fit at least two items of this size before it shows at all and much more smaller stuff before it overflows," he explained. "We can't even have a Christmas tree indoors. We always set it on our patio in our rear yard. "
