I would like to voice my support of the 1980's RPG because of Kieran. Kieran is an incredibly hard-working and dedicated individual who is so devoted to the members of his site that he's willing to keep the forum open and be there daily for the sake of one single member. Although the members on the site can be counted on one hand, the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and if there had been only a single member on the forum, he would keep it open just for the sake of that one person. He does an amazing job every day to establish a community where, regardless of how small it is, people can come and experience, not only to join in on immersing ourselves into that magical world we all know and love, but also acceptance, unity and not least, great fun.

The site has everything needed to one day be found on lists of the top 5 best Harry Potter RPG's of all time; It has a warm, including and open-minded community, it has an exciting plot which gives room for much creativity, and is just all around magical in its own right. The only thing missing here is members; we need to see more members, we need people who can help us become as great as the site's not inconsiderable potential can possibly allow it to be, which is where the Spotlight Directory comes in. Sorry if this sounds cliche, but I'm not merely supporting the site itself. I'm not imploring you to nominate Nevermore for what it is, but for what it can become with your help. Don't nominate the site for the site solely for itself, do it for Kieran, so that he can do well by other people.

Sincerely: Ninclow.

Nevermore's plot follows the Harry Potter books' storyline and the game was founded in 2015, adminned by Kieran. The number of players is currently low, but the admin is active and there's a lot happening on the site.

The plot sets on a solid timeline 1980 -1992 playing out the era after a decade long war. The first ten years have not been limited with any specific plot but the game is mainly character and relationship driven, partially because the decade in question has been obscured in the books. Muggle characters are encouraged to be created, too - and in addition to them you can also create magical creatures, in example vampires or house-elves. A character can be a canon, if they live according to the books during the years in question. The wide variety of creatures gives more free hands in interpreting the world outside the school and brings more depth to the game.

The game has very clean and eye-pleasing skin, including easy navigation through the moderately massive amount of lore. The information covers well everything related to the game and it much seems like the admin has considered everything that the game's own events might challenge in the original Potter world. You can find an answer to pretty much everything by reading, but in case you don't, the admin encourages to ask and to also suggest your own ideas. The lore is mainly on one page which may at first sound frightening, but it's been executed in a really clear way. At the top there's a summary of the game's basics and then there are links that guide to the correct part of the page when looking for more specific information. This makes it possible to go through all sections one by one, if you want to conquer the game's universe at once. The text is punctilious and easy to read, although occasionally perhaps a bit too much like from a non-fiction book. The site also has a really nice extra in the character list's little info cards, monthly polls, and a well-covering guide to forum roleplaying that helps beginners to get a good start.

The board's skin follows the same world as the website's and is built very clear. The application is to be sent on the board where also the character bios can be found. The characters are controlled on character accounts, and in addition players have their own OOC accounts. Outside the in-game areas, the forums include everything you could need from general discussion to an art corner. The in-game areas have been kept vague, which leaves room for imagination and helps in setting game events – as you can't go very wrong. The characters don't have to have pictures, while both play-bys as well as drawn pictures are allowed. With the latter the admin asks for realism, in example manga styled drawings to be avoided.

Nevermore fits all the criteria for a well-built roleplaying game. Active admin is definitely this game's strength, and joining does not necessarily require knowing the story before-hand as the material on the site is more than enough to answer questions about the world. For a player who looks for the inspirational aspects of Harry Potter's magical world combined with everyday life and relationship sentiments, this game is an excellent option!

+ Wide variety of creatures for s character base.
+ Beautiful and comprehensive entity.
