Diagon Alley In the very heart of London. Entrance from the rear yard of the pub/inn The Leaky Cauldron, near the Tottenham Court Road end of Charing Cross Road. It's opposite to the Charing Cross Books store near the Blockbuster music/movie store on the same side. The entrance if to the North side of the Diagon Alley and works by tapping certain bricks of a wall with your wand. Diagon Alley is the shopping central for London's wizarding society. A long, branching alley with more than 100 places including shops, restaurants, an ice cream bar, other services - and the headquarters of Gringotts the only wizarding bank in Britain.

Knockturn Alley Connected to Diagon Alley, on its North side through an archway. Dimly lit shopping area entirely dedicated to the Dark Arts. Like Diagon Alley, includes lots of side alleys and shops but here they're all about dark magic and evil things, and the people here are mainly shady and dangerous folk. You can't access this directly from the muggle areas but only by apparating or through Diagon Alley.

Hogsmeade A mid-sized village in Scotland, walking distance from the Hogwarts Castle. An idyllic country village with numerous shops and a suburb formed by cottages and houses. This is the only completely muggle-free area in Great-Britain. This and Hogwarts are located in a valley on Scottish Highlands, near Dufftown (which is in Banffshire) and Achinteet (which is in Lochaber.)

Hogwarts A large castle in Scotland. Confusion charms have muggles see this as just ruins and a Muggle Repelling charm has them remember something urgant so they'll leave instead of entering to investigate anything. Any electric devices stop working nearby this castle, as they react to the magic in the air. Within the castle grounds and inside the castle however all electric devices work just fine as they begin to run by the magical atmosphere that is extremely strong and plentiful. More info on Hogwarts.

St. Mungo's Hospital Treats magical maladies and accidents. Located in the Central London. The entrance is at a closed-down, "under construction" clothe shop called "Purge and Dowse, Ltd". It's a red-brick house and you can enter the hospital by talking to a mannequin, stating the reason you're entering. When it nods at you, step through the door and you'll find yourself in the reception of the hospital.

12 Grimmaul Place Home of the wizarding family of Black. Located in Islington, inner-London. Grimmauld Place is a fictional street in a muggle neighbourhood. Number 12 is invisible to muggles and they've long since accepted that number 13 coming after 11 is just a simple mistake. In 1995 the number 12 becomes Headquarters to the Order of the Phoenix.

Platform 9 3/4 A platform in the King's Cross Train Station, London. It's hidden from muggles and the gate is through the wide brick post between platforms 9 and 10. The Hogwarts Express arrives/leaves here six times a year. All in all the travel time between this and teh Hogwarts Castle is about five and a half hours. See the Hogwarts Infos, Train travel. The gate is open only on the arrival/leaving day from 09:00 to 18:00, and closed at all other times! A Confusion spell prevents muggles from noticing the people running through the brick post. Muggles can go through only if they believe they can and know what's on the other side - is why the family of a muggle-born child can get through but muggles in general can't.

Azkaban In the middle of North Sea is an island almost entirely of rock, that has only one building; an iron-wall prison for Great-Britain's witches and wizards who have committed a serious enough crime. It's much larger inside than it looks from the outside. You can't apparate or disapparate anywhere on the island, and it as well as the prison building has been secured with tons of protection spells.
