Jacob toivoi että tytön puheet jotka vahvistivat hänen juuri muistuttamaansa jo moneen kertaan antamaansa pointtia seurakoirasta, siitä ettei heidän tarpeisiinsa sovi mikä tahansa rotu kuten esimerkiksi ei tämä – poika kun oli haaveillut ja ehdotellut jos jonkinlaista rotua kesän aikana vaikka missään vaiheessa ei koiran hankintaan oltu suostuttu, saisivat pojan jättämään väittelyn ainakin tältä erää. Nyt kun siis joku toinenkin oli sanonut samaa, joku koiranomistaja.
