Lapset äännähtivät hieman pettyneinä, loman kun olisi kruunannut jos olisi saanut leikkiä koiran kanssa. Keväällä oli kotona keskusteltu kissan tai koiran adoptiosta, mutta isä päätyi tulokseen että ainakaan pariin vuoteen ei ihan omaa hankittaisi mutta he saisivat tarjoutua hoitajiksi kavereiden lemmikeille tarvittaessa kunhan ensin kysyisivät häneltä luvan.
"Mekin lomaillaan vesipuistossa," Hunter osallistui keskusteluun, kun tilaukset oli tehty, sillä ei halunnut jäädä synkistelemään koiran puutettaan.
"Minä olisin halunnut Suomeen Isä Joulun luo," Freya kertoi yhä innoissaan ajatuksesta mutta vesipuistossa oli ollut niin hauskaa että vähäistäkään pettymystä ehdotuksensa hylystä ei kuułunut. "Mutta isi sanoi että hänkin on varmaan kesälomalla jossain muualla."
"Joo, hän on varmaan lentänyt poroineen tropiikkiin. Tai ehkä tänne!" Hunter kommentoi Freyalle osoitetun vinon hymyn kera. Poika itse oli lakannut uskomasta viime vuonna, saaden vahvistuksen vanhemmiltaan, mutta mielellään hän piti tuon myytin taikaa yllä pikkusiskolleen.
