Just a few but essential changes and additions:

- They don't have monthly meetings. Instead, the leader calls for group meetings only whenever he feels it necessary. He writes to individual members personally via owl post and expects a confirmation reply from each of them. He never gathers all members together, so no one knows exactly how many members there are.

- No one is allowed to use the headquarters outside these group meetings, other than the leader himself. Unless the member or ally has received special permission from the leader for some reason.

- One-on-one communication between members or the leader and members happen through coded mesages via owl post. Other than that, messages everyone needs to read, still happen through coded messages on the Daily Propher's Readers' Column.

^These should help keep things simple whilst still offering players' freedom.
Also:

- The only people who know for sure what the leader genuinely looks like (as in have seen him without Polyjuice Potion) are those who have been approved as official members. The leaders' real name is known only by members and allies who are his personal and old friends. Most members also don't know very much about the leader's private life or past, they learn things about him on need-to-know basis.

This host has by far the best account switcher I've seen.

* User CP --> Micellaneous --> Linked Accounts.
Fill in the usernames and passwords of all accounts you wish to link to each other. After you've linked at least two accounts, on the top right corner (under the forum logo) appears "Switch Accounts" link and by clicking it you'll get to choose which account you want to log in to and it'll do it in two seconds. That way it literally signs you in with the chosen other account.

* But you don't have to always log in.
When you're starting a new thread or posting a reply, you'll find the same drop-down menu at the top of the form. So if you want to post something on your character account but are currently on your OOC account you can just choose the character from that menu and it will get posted on that one - while you still remain logged in on your OOC account. But note that creating a new thread that way will still display your OOC username as the thread's starter on the thread listing page.

* That drop-down menu is also attached to the post editing page. Which is extremely handy and brilliant. You can change the account a post was sent on on the edit page instead of having to delete and re-post. Like, if I started a Wanted Ad on my character Hunter's account but later thought I'd rather have it posted on Jacob's or on my OOC account I could change it from that menu. For gaming this is especially great; if you accidentally post to a thread with the wrong character, you can correct it from that menu in a few clicks.
I love it!
