APPEARANCE:
He has a full face with his nose being perhaps a wee bit bigger. His face is dotted with freckles which get less prominent as he gets older. He can summon an annoying dimpled smirk on his face more often, than he actually smiles.

When he was smaller his hair were very light brown, almost to the point of ginger, but as he grew older his hair got darker. One thing never changes though - his hair is very straight and he keeps he quite short.

His eyes are dark green, with a touch of brown inside. More often than not his eyes wandering all around the place. He rarely makes eye contact. When he does so by accident he usually quickly turn his head in completely different direction.

He is consistently a wee bit shorter than other kids his age. Not by a lot, but it's noticeable.  He is one of those people, who will never be big and brawny, but he never felt like it was a problem.

PERSONALITY:
Sam is very defensive. It's a trait he acquired during his stay in his 2nd school. When interacting with others he is usually quite sheepish, at least until he gets to know said person a little better. He has a low self-esteem and will endure a lot. It would take a lot to take him to a breaking point. Sam learned to control his anger and outbursts, because he is afraid, that he will disappoint his father again. And he will do anything to avoid that.

Once Sam learns to trust someone he can be very easily influenced by that person. In a way he will try not to disappoint them as well. He is not stupid, not is he a coward, he can make his own decisions if he wanted, but it's just more natural for him to follow someone - may it be his father or his friends.

When talking to adults, Sam is very polite, even if he hates that person. It's just easier for him to swallow his feelings and act as a proper young man should. When he feels like he needs to speak with someone there is just one person he can completely open to - his aunt. He will tell his father when something bothers him, but he won't tell him anything, that would show Sam in a bad light. Instead he will tell it to his aunt. She always listens to him, she will get him advice and she promised she will never tell his father. This happens only rarely though. Sam is very good at keeping his anger in check and in "suffering" in silence.

He is generally and honest person, who wouldn't hurt anyone or steal. Not that he didn't think about it sometimes, but he is simply too much afraid, that word about it could get to his father. Fortunately for Sam, he is smart enough to keep this fear for himself, because if others knew they could take advantage of this simple fact. It's perhaps another reason why he is usually a quiet person, who does his best to stay out of sight and out of thought.

He isn't competitive, but he likes team sports, mostly because he can actually play without drawing too much attention to himself. He also really loves to read. He isn't very sociable, but secretly he really would like to fit well with others. He doesn't need to be exactly popular, but it would be nice to have at least few good friends. Perhaps even someone, who could learn who exactly he is and why he is the way he is...

HISTORY:
Father never talked much about his mother. Sam was never sure why. Perhaps it was a painful story to tell? Or was there something, that he just shouldn't know? From what he learned they met during some sort of event and it was a love at first sight, almost like from a story. It seems they were happy together for some time, but only for a very short time. Shortly after Sam was born she disappeared. But the details of why or when are something his dad is very secretive about. Dad was a wealthy man, having his own factory that was creating parts of motorbikes, and even when he was searching for her, he never did find her. Sam never learned if something terrible happened to her or if she simply left. Dad never even told him her name. After some time he just stopped asking. Not that he didn't care, but his dad was always so sad after he asked about it. Or was it anger?

And so little Sam was growing with his father. Dad was always very kind, but he had little free time to spent with Sam. After all, he was a businessman. There were some babysitters, even a butler for some time, his aunt was trying to help when she could, but Sam felt a bit lonely. And it wasn't always easy. He decided he will earn his father's attention in another way. He started to misbehave in school. It started as simple pranks, but soon quite soon he overdid it and was expelled from the school. When his father came for him he saw something in his eyes - something he didn't see there before. It was a disappointment. There were no words, but he knew he never wanted to disappoint him again.

Unfortunately, his new school wasn't all that great. Yes, it was a private school and quite expansive, but Sam was the new guy there, not to mention a new guy who got kicked out of school. It didn't exactly make him a lot of friends. He grew timid, trying not to pull anyone's attention, but he was absolutely adamant in his goal of never disappointing his dad. He became a great student, but a bit socially awkward. Yet he returns every day home with a smile on his face, telling his dad what a great time he had in school.

He was completely oblivious, that there was a world around him completely different from the one he knew. Yes, there was the one incident when a stuffed platypus fell from the shelf right on the head of one of his classmates who was trying to bully him. But that was probably just the wind. He never even gave that a second thought. But there was this other weird thing. His room was in the attic. There was this round window overlooking the neighborhood and he always loved to look through it with his spying glass. On this stormy night he should've been in bed for a long time, but thanks to all those thunders he just couldn't fall asleep so he decided to watch the storm instead. He was looking around when he noticed this woman in a black dress that was walking slowly through the rain. It was almost like the rain didn't even hit her at all. Even stranger was, that it seemed like she was coming to their house! He couldn't be sure, since he lost her from view, but then he heard his father steps. Sam quietly opened his door, listening, only to hear the main door opening and his father talking with a woman. He didn't understand a word they were saying, so he went to bed instead, since he wasn't brave enough to sneak closer. The next day he asked dad who was he talking to last night, but dad had no idea what he was talking about. And it really didn't seem like he was lying... it was really weird. The weirdest thing was, that he started to have a feeling, that he knew the woman from somewhere. He spent more nights thinking about her then he would like to admit, yet he could never place her. Until finally he gave up upon this mystery.
