Tell Me About Yourselves-Holiday Edition - candlewhisperer - 12-18-2023
The holidays are coming up! I thought we could share what we do during the holidays.
1. Do you celebrate Christmas? If not, do you celebrate something else this time of the year?
2. What are your holiday traditions?
3. Do you have a favourite holiday food?
4. What do you most look forward to about the holidays?
I do celebrate Christmas. I don't have any traditions perse besides having a large Christmas dinner with family and friends. We normally have turkey, mashed potatoes, grilled veggies, cranberry sauce, all the typical North American holiday fixings. This year unfortunately I will be working a night shift so I'll be spending Christmas with my pets but that's ok, I'll probably have a belated Christmas supper with my family.
My favourite holiday food is my moms pumpkin pie and my boyfriends moms christmas cookies, they're kind of like shortbread but softer and a little different, she puts almond extract in them and its so good!
I mainly look forward to spending qood quality time with my family and sitting by the fire drinking hot chocolate. Presents are always nice too though lol!
